ODDC test case

Once you are done with the installation, configurations according to the official documentation (along with my previous blog entry), you are set to try out the setup with a simple sample.

Step 1) Login to the http://localhost:82/odcweb/WebCapture.asp url with a normal user.

Step 2) Click on “Import” button to import an batch image file.

Step 3) The batch will be created as below

Step 4) Open the batch to apply the metadata indexing values, this is same as you would do from a desktop based ODC

Step 5) Once indexed, the batch is ready to be “Send” to the server for committing

Step 6) Clock “Ok” to send the batch to the ODC server for committing

Step 7) Check the log file to figure out the processing cycle.

Step 8) If you want to write some logic to monitor the batches being created, processed and committed, here are the ecActionID values from the ecAudit table.
